The greater our awareness of our weakness and our nothingness, and the stronger our self-denial in our downward journey to the place where Christ is, the more solid will be the foundations of the temple of God which is being built within us, allowing a more perfect dwelling of Christ in our hearts, upon which His heavenly image will be engraved ever more deeply.
